It is important however, to realize that no two applications are the same, soil will vary even within a few meters, seasonal conditions vary, different crops or plants have differing demands, and while multiple applications are highly recommended, even a light spreading can create noticeable results. Not all results are realized the same season, as poor soil can take considerable time to rejuvenate, so the earlier you start, the earlier the results.
